Why are ground vehicles included on the most tracked list?

The Most Tracked list shows the aircraft and ground vehicles receiving the most views in real-time. However, we don’t always know the exact reason they are trending—only that they are generating the highest engagement.

Ground vehicles are included because there aren’t always ten noteworthy flights in the air. Removing them could result in a list of random flights that may not be relevant.

Tracking numbers offer better insight than whether an object is a ground vehicle or an aircraft. A count of 200–600 indicates low interest, 1,000+ suggests significant attention, and 10,000+ signals a major event.
