Why is some aircraft information limited or not visible?

Modified on Fri, 10 Apr at 2:22 PM

Information about a small number of flights may be limited or blocked at the request of owners or operators through third-party services, such as the FAA's LADD (Limiting Aircraft Data Displayed) program.

Additionally:

  • High-profile aircraft, like Air Force One, are not displayed.
  • Military and government aircraft may also be blocked entirely.
  • Other restricted aircraft may still appear, but as anonymized by aircraft type, without identifying details.
